PRECISE TOOL has vertical turning centers.  With maximum swing of 216" and 126" under the tools, live spindle/C-Axis and right angle head capability makes these machines unique.

State-of-the-art controls, tool changers and machine rigidity help facilitate our ability to machine large parts for industries like power generation and the rotary molding industry.
 
These machines can hold parts up to 80,000 LBS.

Our heavy crane bays can pick parts up to 60 tons.

The manufacturing of this 150" diameter ring takes hours of turning, joint face machining, non-destructive testing and assembly.

LARGE PRECISION MACHINED PARTS

This VTL (with two rams and live spindles) allows PRECISE to machine large diameter parts with ease. Turning and milling/drilling can be performed in one set-up.

Hydrostatic ways allow for table loads to 40,000 lbs. Turning diameters to 157" and a height of 80" under the rail.

This ring is made from a two-piece casting of 137" diameter weighing 6,000 lbs machined to a tolerance of +.002 /-0" diametrically.
